I hope that each and every one of you had a wonderful holiday season filled with good times, good company, good food, and relaxation!
I’m so excited for 2014; it’s going to be a fabulous year for ACRP and its members. We have so many new and exciting initiatives underway and planned that I know are going to mean a great deal to all of you and will allow ACRP to help revolutionize the clinical research profession. I’m thrilled to be able to discuss one of these initiatives with our community now and share my thoughts on why it’s so impactful for the association and its members.
ACRP and CenterWatch have formed a strategic relationship. CenterWatch is the “gold standard” for market intelligence and clinical research resources and we’re elated to be partnering with them on initiatives and products. Their mission is “…to be the leading source of clinical trials information for both clinical research professionals and patients.” They have a wide array of services and resources for patients, industry, sites, sponsors, and CROs.
The CenterWatch resources, such as Benchmarking Reports, Position Statements, White Papers, SOPs, and more, arenow available exclusively to our members via acrpnet.org, at 30% off the regular price. This partnership offers ACRP Members access to high quality, relevant, timely, and professional resources aimed at improving practice and increasing efficiency. CenterWatch will also be updating their investigator database to include a field for investigator and site staff certification to be highlighted. This recognition of the value of ACRP Certification is really important to me as it highlights the value certification has within our diverse field.
While some of these exciting new resources are available for sale, there are many resources that are also available for free. To make room for all of these newly shared resources that have come through ACRP’s strategic partnership with like-minded organizations, we have re-launched our Resources section on acrpnet.org. Our goal with this newly revamped section is to provide our membership with everything you need to conduct ethical, effective, and efficient clinical research—all in one place. I encourage you all to take a look at www.acrpnet.org/newresources and let me know what you think.
More to come soon …
